Hi! I’m Alison. I’ve been teaching yoga in York for 14 years. As well as pregnancy and post-natal classes, I have a thriving timetable of classes just for you! All are welcome, I offer loads of variations for postures, yoga is about so much more. I recognise that yoga is part of, not separate from, the rest of our lives. Come and join Helen your postnatal exercise specialist for a fun and effective Buggy Workout session in West Bank Park Holgate every Monday between 10.30-11.30am.
The class focuses on improving your cardiovascular fitness, strength and resistance training, core work and pushchair posture. The sessions are designed specifically with new mums in mind and cater for all fitness levels. Baby comes too so there’s no need for childcare. Working out in the great outdoors is beneficial for both yourself and your baby.
Classes cost £6 and are booked in blocks of four at a time.

After lockdown 3.0 we are back! And everything is outdoors. From 29th March we’ll be re-starting our fitness classes.
We’ve got the old classics and some brand new sessions to kick-start the summer and blow away the lockdown blues. We are biased, but these are the best group fitness classes in York.

Our outdoor classes have been a real success and your support with the COVID protocols has been much appreciated. We’ll be increasing the number of our usual outdoor classes and we’ll be moving some of our indoor classes outside. Don’t worry about the weather, we’ll have the covers up and the lights on.

Each week we will look at something foundational to yoga practice and delve in a little deeper, looking at how yoga can help promote a healthy, functional and sustainable way of moving and being, and ultimately a better way of life.
Each workshop will cater to all abilities, so don’t worry if you have never tried yoga before, you can still come along and there will be options and progressions for you to try throughout.
