🎁Create a treasure basket
We all know that young children are often more interested in the box a toy came in, or the wrapping. The fascination of what’s inside to discover and investigate is of such benefit for inquisitive young minds.
Filling a basket or box is simple, quick and if you are creative completely free! It’s fun for babies who can sit up but might not be mobile yet, plus you can adapt the contents as your child gets older. Here are some ideas of things to include: Toothbrush, wooden spoon, egg whisk, small teddy, ball, large shell, nail brush, clothes peg, keys, leather purse and silk scarves.
Why not try to make a Christmas themed box!
Make sure you avoid anything that might present a choking hazard or contain chemicals.
