The Role:Early Years Practitioner – Key Person
Beehive pre-school playgroup are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic team player to join our pre-school to help us meet the growing demand for places within our setting. As a team, we are committed to providing the highest quality early years education and care for children aged 2 to school age. The ideal candidate will have a sound working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), will hold a minimum Level 3 Qualification in Childcare and have a thorough understanding of the commitment required to meet the needs of this role fully.
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Applicants must be prepared to disclose any convictions they may have and any orders, which have been made against them. Applicants will be required to show their most recent DBS certificate if selected for interview.
Hours: We are open during term time and this position is a Fixed Term position until 17th July though it has the possibility of becoming permanent.
Hours – 32.5 hours a week – 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes (unpaid) for lunch.
There is the potential for additional hours during the summer holidays (depending on interest from our families) and ad-hoc extra cover during term time throughout the fixed term contract. Although initially this role is a fixed term position we anticipate that for the right candidate a permanent full time role will be available at the end of the fixed term contract.
Successful candidates will be interviewed during week commencing Monday 2nd March 2020.
Pay: To be discussed at interview but meets minimum wage.
