We are looking for a lively and committed Early Years Practitioner to join our existing dedicated and friendly team to deliver safe, high-quality education and care for our children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Applicants should have:
Minimum Level 2 Early Years education and childcare qualification (or equivalent) to enable inclusion in statutory child:staff ratios
The ability to demonstrate knowledge of child development, safeguarding, and health & safety
The ability to confidently apply their learning in a practical environment under appropriate management supervision
Some experience of working with young children within the EYFS framework
The willingness and ability to take on the role of key worker in relation to a group of children (previous experience of the key worker role is preferred)
Good communication skills
A commitment to working effectively with other staff members and the young children and their families
Available hours: The role is term time only and will be for a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 sessions per week.
Fixed Term: Initially fixed until end of July 2020, (but with the hope to extend into the 2020/2021 academic year).
