Join us to help mark Apple Day (which is officially 21st of October but we like to be early!)
To celebrate we are running children’s apple-based activities and crafts in the Rowntree Park Orchard – yes there is an orchard!
This will include:
Apple Identification
use of an apple press (this is really fun for kids) and apple tasting
Apple printing (on bags to take home) – perfect for apple foraging!
Other apple-based crafts and activities!
This is suited to a range of ages – the crafts are mainly aimed at 2-10-year-olds. Tickets are only needed for the child involved. babies in arms and accompanying adults do not need a ticket.

In addition to children’s activities, there are also activities for adults and older children including apple identification, tasting and an orchard skills workshop – more info in another event page – take a peak!
