Developing Emotional Resilience in Children & Young People

This one day course will provide learners with an understanding of what is meant by emotional resilience and why it is important when caring for young people.
The course will guide you through the stages of identifying, influencing and building emotional resilience and identifying the signs and symptoms of mental health issues. Practical, evidence-based support strategies and interventions, signposting and guidance will be given to help learners to feel confident in encouraging and maintaining positive wellbeing and building emotional resilience.
Who is the course for?
School support staff, personal assistants, youth workers, anyone working or volunteering with young people. Please note this course focuses on young people. What’s included?
Learners will receive a pack of resources and a certificate on completion of the course. Lunch is also provided – please advise us of any specific dietary or other requirements.
