York’s Monks Cross Shopping Park will be hosting a fun-filled yet informative Emergency Services Day on Saturday 21st September, set to entertain children and families.
The Emergency Services day will be taking place from 11am – 4pm and will have appearances from North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue, York Rescue boat, North Yorkshire Police, Yorkshire Air Ambulance and St Johns Ambulance. On the day visitors will be able to see the emergency vehicles on display, learn about the roles played in the industry and take part in free activities.
Chase from PAW Patrol will also be making an appearance for the day and can be seen at intervals between 11am and 4pm.

Monks Cross is located on the north east outskirts of the city centre offering free parking and includes anchors Primark, Boots, River Island, Debenhams.
