The 6th Mumbler Mingle is at the hidden gem of a nursery, St Pauls. Open to parents with children of all ages – we’ve chosen a Saturday so you can bring your older ones too if you’d like!

We’re trying something different each time, so whether you came to the first 5 and loved them, or haven’t tried it yet… come along to this and see if it works for you and your mini mumbler.
The ideas is that it’s for the PARENTS to meet, mingle and chat so that you can make some new mates. So come by yourself (and with your child of course!) and you’ll get a friendly welcome!
It was important to us that everyone could come to this, and there will never be a charge for coming to Mingle. St Paulsl are opening up their doors to us for free and they have even offered to provide some tea and coffee free of charge. I’ll bring along some biccies and cake too.
There is very limited on street parking so walk if you can or leave time to find a space on the nearby streets.

A bit more general info about the Mumbler Mingles…
We hope you’ll agree that Mumbler offers a fantastic online place for mums, dads, grandparents and carers to share thoughts, concerns and tales, but after a number of posts from mumblers looking to meet new people and make new friends we think it’s time to mingle in person again!
This is not another baby group. This is a group with a Mumbler make over – you’ll be made to feel welcome, there won’t be ‘cliques’ you can come with friends or alone and if you want to, you’ll start to make some new friendships too!
It’s a great chance for any and every mumbler to come along to a friendly, informal and inclusive event. You can chat to other mums and dads without worrying about any weird silences or that dreaded moment of awkwardness when you first walk in.
If you’re ready to meet some new people and hopefully make some new friends come along!
The Mumbler Mingles will be held at different venues in York each month and we’re hoping to vary the day / time so that everyone has a chance to come along.
The event is totally free and you can just drop in any time. We have a few tricks up our sleeve to make you feel really welcome and to help get everyone chatting.
