At York St John University we are seeking to establish a community centre in York that serves the needs of parents and families and involves their voices in research. It is our goal to improve the new parent experience in York through evidence-based practice.
To begin this process, we are hosting an afternoon of brainstorming, networking and engagement, to find out what the community centre should provide and how, and to hear directly from parents what kind of support they would value.
Parents should feel free to bring their babies and toddlers. Lunch will be provided. Feel free to come along for the whole event, or even just for an hour or two.
