Santa Dash is back!
It’s a perfect Pocklington pick-me-up to kick off the Festive Season. Put on your Santa suits and snowy white beards and dash, skip, hop or simply stroll around Allerthorpe Lakeland Park’s beautiful lakes and woodland.
NEW FOR 2017
Catch the Turkey: Can you catch the festive turkey and win a meat hamper just in time for Christmas? This is one for any wannabe Mo Farrahs. Our Turkey will start off the race with a head start and if you catch the turkey first the prize is yours!
Present Pick Up: This is ideal for our younger dashers. Santa has dropped his presents around Allerthorpe Lakeland Park! Silly Santa. Make your way around a special course and pick up Santa’s presents to claim your prize.
Family Fun Day: We have lots on offer this year for all the family. Festive games, welly wanging, Christmas pudding shy, ‘Where in the world is Father Christmas?’, a canine costume competition, cake stall, raffle and much much more!
Entry to the Santa Dash includes entry to Allerthorpe Lakeland Park plus the play area and pets corner. Will Santa appear on his speed boat again this year? The café will be available on the day serving a selection of hot and cold treats.
You have a choice of a one lap dash of 1.5km or a longer 3km route. We can provide the Santa suit, or you can come along in your own festive outfit but you will still need to book your place online.
Dogs are welcome on site (and are encouraged to dress up) but will not be allowed to take part in the run. If you are bringing a dog please make sure there is someone to stay with it throughout.
Don’t forget to ask your friends and family to sponsor Santa and help us raise vital funds for the Hospice. Why not create a Fundraising Page and set yourself a target? If you can raise £50 or more before the dash (and show us evidence of this) then you will be entered into a prize drawn to win a Christmas hamper (adults and children’s prizes available)!
