The Finance Manager is the principal financial officer within the school having accountability for the efficient and effective management of the school’s finances and financial systems.
You will contribute to achieving the schools aim’s and values and to its strategic direction, vision and planning. In a proactive manner you will deliver strategically-aligned business and financial advice and key performance information to support the school leadership team in achieving its objectives and to the Board of Trustees in exercising sound governance. You will line-manage the Finance Officer and Finance Assistant (both part-time roles).
Working hours: 0.7 FTE 26.25 hrs per week. A greater proportion of hours will need to be worked during term-time, but the exact split of hours between term-time and school holidays will be discussed with the successful candidate.
Salary: £24K – £29K (pro rata)
Annual Leave: 28 days (inclusive of bank holidays) in the first year, rising to 33 days after 3 years (pro rata) Position: Permanent, subject to a one year probationary period Start Date: 5th September 2020
