Frenzy Youth Theatre York

Our weekly drama classes for ages 5-10 are fun filled and action packed with lots of games, speech work, devising and scripted work. Frenzy encourages its members to explore, play and experiment with ideas to create new innovative pieces of theatre.

Paper Planes and Daisy Chains

Our classes are perfect for your little cherubs, fun, colourful and most importantly creative. Each lesson your monkey can expect an adventure into the world of different books, and together we will dance, sing and craft our way through the adventure, using theatre skills to enhance their experience. Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts

PQA is a weekend performing arts academy providing tuition for children from 4-18 years. Students aged 6-18 rotate through sessions in comedy & drama, musical theatre and film & television. Each week Poppets (aged 4-5) will enjoy a structured session of performing arts based on an engaging and exciting theme.

Riding Lights Youth Theatre

Based at Friargate Theatre, in central York, we run courses for young actors aged 11-24. We run three courses taking place throughout school term times:

Juniors: School Years 7 – 9 (Monday)
Seniors: School Years 10 – 13 (Tuesday)
Acting Up! (for those with additional needs or disabilities): Ages 14 – 24 (Wednesday)

Sessions are welcoming, friendly and open to people of all abilities.
