We are a friendly community group, run by parents, who meet every Thursday morning in West Bank Park, York. Whatever the weather, school hols included, we spend a couple of hours in the woods and meadows of the Park, doing nature games and crafts, building or making things with materials we find, telling stories and singing songs.
We are open to all – with a contribution of £1 a family (to cover basic equipment) – so if you want to join us, see you on Thursday at 10am at the statue of Queen Victoria, at the top of the Rose Walk. (Bring something simple to share at snack time.)

Multitots York group is for twins and multiples aged between 0 to 5. Young siblings are welcome, as are older ones during school holidays.
We meet every Thursday in the Treehouse at New Earswick Children’s Centre, from 10.30 to 12.30.

Tweenies is a playgroup session for children aged 18months -3 years olds and is staffed by a Level 3 Childcare practitioner who leads free-play, themed craft activities and stories and song. Parents must stay in session until your child is 2.5 after which you have to option to leave your child if you wish.
Includes snacks and drinks for children and parents.

A warm welcome awaits all parents, grandparents and carers with babies, toddlers and preschool children. The room is laid out attractively with art and craft activities, small climbing toys, water play and a baby area. Staff are on hand to chat with you, make you a cup of tea and introduce you to other parents. We have snack time, where we share a plate of healthy snacks and end the session with singing circle.
The health visitor attends on the first Thursday of every month. No need to book an appointment with her just turn up at the hall and you will be able to drop in and see her with your child.
We charge £3.50 per family (£2.00 if you only have a baby) to cover the cost of the hall hire, but no charge is made if you would struggle to pay this. Tea/coffee and biscuits are provided. We hope to see you there and get to know both you and your child.
Stockton on the Forest Baby and Toddler group run every Thursday (Term time) in the village hall from 9:30-11.30. We have a fantastic large space for the children, good quality toys. We provide snack for the children. Often a craft activity too. Please come and join us and see for yourself. £2.50 per family. Childminders with more than two children may ask to contribute slightly more.
