ABC Club is a friendly afternoon drop-in for (grand)parents, aunts, uncles, etc. to bring their pre-schoolers. It’s a relatively small group due to the afternoon being nap time for many little ones. We don’t mind if they nap here while you just enjoy a cuppa and a chat! For the children, we provide crafts, singing, snack and drink and, of course, a wide variety of play equipment and books. At the end of every term, we have a special story and song time in the main church hall. And maybe some cake…
Acomb Baptist Church, Ridgeway, YO26 5DW.
1.00pm – 2.30pm. Group for mums, dads and carers with babies up to crawling age. As your baby grows, information and support are provided. We’ll help you to know what other services and activities are available in the local community. This is an informal and friendly group. Refreshments are available and there are scales available for you to weigh your baby. Occasionally there is a speaker or chats on topics of interest. The room is set up to provide a stimulating environment for you and your baby. If you are starting out with a new baby, it’s a great place to meet like-minded mums, dads and carers.
There is no cost for attending Acomb Babies.
