MAMA be Fit’s Fitness Playgroup

Are you a Mummy with a little one under 2 looking for a class to do on the east side of York?
Would you like to get fitter, socialise and make new friends? We do 30 minutes exercise followed by 30 minutes playgroup whilst you enjoy a well-deserved cuppa.

Classes are relaxed, friendly and suitable for all stages of post pregnancy. Taken by Rachel who is a ladies only personal trainer, pilates instructor and pre and post-natal specialist.
We work on everything from….

  • Helping to recover and regain fitness with post pregnancy safe exercises.
  • Locating core muscles again post pregnancy, diastasis recti separation correction and re-building core strength.
  • Strengthening the pelvic floor, lower back and pelvis thus reducing lower back pains.
  • Aerobic exercise for a healthy heart and weight.
  • Resistance training for toning and strength.
  • All are low impact, with modifications and progression making them suitable for all the newest of mama’s and the ‘give me something harder’ mama’s .

Where – Wilberfoss Community Centre
