We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate Marketing Manager to join the team on a part time basis. You should be a team player who is positive thinking and strives to provide excellent service at all times.
Hours: 16-20 hours per week Salary and Benefits: £12.50 – £15.00 experience dependent, Gym Membership Included (value £1200)
Principal Objectives of the role: To grow gym membership and Café custom. Develop awareness of the Supersonic Brand within York. Create partnerships with corporates. Grow the Supersonic Community.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Marketing • To work with the management team to create a short, medium and long-term marketing plan for Supersonic focussed on growing membership numbers and upselling services to existing members • Create a working budget to accompany the marketing plan • To conduct research to support marketing planning • Run seasonal campaigns and promotions to drive membership sales • Liaise with target media to ensure successful partnerships are in place for listings, editorial and advertorials • Manage regular events and workshops to bring the local community in to Supersonic • Manage website updates as required (including blog updates) • Manage MailChimp to deliver email marketing for Supersonic to promote services/promotions to existing members and to entice warm leads to come on board o Including database management (in-line with GDPR requirements) • Manage third party suppliers to fulfil creative campaigns – designers, photographers and videographers • Manage the SEO partner to ensure page 1 rankings and drive in-bound enquiries • Involve the team in regular gorilla style marketing activity • Promote membership schemes amongst existing members to maximise uptake
Social Media • To generate creative ideas and produce lively multi-media content for blogs and social media, including Facebook, Instagram Twitter & LinkedIn • Create a content calendar that syncs with the marketing plan and includes all key national days and events • Populate the Supersonic social media channels on a regular basis • Run an audit of local influencers and come up with innovative ways to engage them in Supersonic • Run regular advertising on Facebook & Instagram in sync with the marketing plan Business Development • Attend local networking events to grow relationships that will drive new business • Forge relationships with local schools and businesses to run partnership activity • Proactively promote Supersonic as a venue for private events Retention • Manage regular events, workshops and promotions to enhance member retention • Communicate with members on a regular basis to enhance member retention
Other • To perform any other appropriate ad hoc duties as may be requested by your manager from time to time
