Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th February
After the great success of last year we are once again welcoming you to come and visit our reconstructed Viking village on the outskirts of historic York.
Take part in a multiple award winning Viking experience which is usually only available to school groups. You will get to dress as a Viking, learn how to use a spear and shield, make a clay lamp to take home with you, and see what it was really like to live in a Viking Longhouse.
The experience is £7.50 per child and will last for approximately 1 1/2 hours and is outside so sensible shoes and coat are advised. *
There will be four slots each day and they will be the following: 09:00 – 10:30, 11:00 – 12:30, 13:00 – 14:30 & 15:00 – 16:30
We strongly recommend either calling us on 01904 489966, emailing email@example.com or private messaging us on Facebook to book a spot as places are limited and based on last year we expect to sell out.
Please note that the actual Farming Museum will not be open for this event. However the playground and the cafe will be.
*There must be at least one adult per group to supervise but they will be free.
