Qa Research, an independent social research company based in York is currently undertaking some research for Living Streets, the UK charity for everyday walking.
Living Streets wants to find out more about how children travel to school; what barriers may stand in the way of walking to school or using active travel (e.g. bikes; scooters) rather than by car. They also want to know more about what safety concerns parents have about the walk to school.
Qa will be running a focus group discussion with parents at a central York location in December. The group will last an hour and invited participants will be given £20 as a thank you for their time.
The group will be:
• Thursday 14th December, 6-7pm: for parents with secondary-school aged children aged 11-14
