York Minxters Roller Derby

The team train people who’ve never skated before and also have a competitive team for the more experienced. All genders are welcome. They also have a junior team open to 8-18 year olds. Look out for their next skater intake on Facebook.

‘No need for prior skating experience and you can even borrow the gear during the initial intake programme. If you find the contact part isn’t for you, there’s still other things you can do, e.g. refereeing.’
