We are an all abilities running club that meet on a Wednesday night, 6.30pm at the Holiday Inn on Tadcaster Road.
A friendly sociable and welcoming running club for men and women – you don’t need to be a mum/dad or fit! Distances of 1,2,3,4,5 & 6+ miles offered at each session – fit into whichever distance suits you with trained Leader to support you.
An inclusive social community for Men in York. Bringing men together to socialise, exercise and enjoy themselves in a non-judgemental, friendly environment.
Social Circuits – Tuesday’s 8pm Nether Poppleton
Aimed at men who don’t go to the gym to work out together at your own pace.
Walk and Talk – Once a month, usually Sunday 1-3
Meet new people, socialise and exercise. Often head for a coffee or beer after (no obligation to join though!)

The place to be on a Saturday morning is Dalby Forest parkrun, dust off your trail shoes and head to Dalby Forest. This is a free timed 5k run event (discounted parking applies between 8.30-10.30am) and is open to all.

A short run for women who have never run or lost fitness, (incl. post natal or menopause). Aiming for comfortable 5k, longer runs by arrangement.
Lead by Melanie, qualified personal trainer and insured run leader.
We’re a community of runners who combine exercise with volunteering; our focus is to get you fit whilst helping the local community and reducing social isolation. Our group runs are free, sociable and fun. We meet every Monday at 6pm at Priory Street Centre conference rooms.

We’re completely volunteer led so if anyone has any free time and a heart to support other mums whilst enjoying some fresh air yourself then we’d love to hear from you or just pop along on a Monday morning!

Our free, citywide York Health Walks make sure that no one gets left behind! Short, regular and over easy terrain, they are open to everyone. A great way to keep active and enjoy good company. Just turn up on the day. Printed programmes in libraries.
