As the first point of contact for most customers and potential customers, this role is critical in delivering the best experience possible, instilling confidence and enthusiasm in others. A warm and friendly telephone manner is crucial as well as excellent written communication skills.
The role requires an ability to think proactively & foresee potential customer issues, to empathise with customers and balance business needs to tailor appropriate solutions, effectively managing difficult situations.
It is vital that the Customer Care Manager takes full accountability for, and is able to prioritise their work and time effectively and efficiently. At the same time, a positive and flexible ‘can-do’ approach is important.
The role is primarily office-based (south York, close to the A64), however you will be required to carry out some duties from home, poolside and at other.
Candidates must have the following qualifications / experience: – Minimum of five GCSEs grades A-C, including Maths and English – A proven track record in a Customer Service or Sales environment – Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – Good organisational skills and ability to work under pressure – Disciplined and self-motivated – Sensitive to the needs of customers and colleagues – Professional and loyal at all times – Experience in database management – Evidence of having held accountability & delivering results both individually & as part of a team – Fully computer literate – Microsoft applications, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email & social media
