Places for People Group is an award-winning property management, development, regeneration and leisure company. We operate in a large number of different sectors but our fundamental aim is to create homes and places where people choose to live and where people and communities thrive. The Places for People York office is currently looking to recruit a part-time office administrator to work Monday to Friday from 10am until 2.30pm. This role will predominantly be administrative in nature but will also involve duties that typically fall to the role of a receptionist such as the handling of incoming and outgoing post, carrying out routine fire and health and safety checks and welcoming visitors to the office. The role will also involving making room bookings for meetings and ensuring that catering requirements are met on each occasion.
The successful candidate should have a confident communication style and will feel comfortable liaising with individuals at all levels. Due to the nature of the role we need you to be familiar with Microsoft office packages and to be good with I.T. systems. In addition to providing administration and reception to the office, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving any problems so that our office runs smoothly. Experience of diary management, operating a switchboard and effectively managing multiple priorities would be beneficial but are not essential.
The salary for this role is £18,000 – £20,000 (pro rata).
