Poppleton Centre – Weekend Facilities/Reception Coordinator
Established in 1989, the Poppleton Centre is recognised as the hub of the community, situated in the heart of the community of Poppleton on the outskirts of York. Housing a cafe, sports hall and various multi-functional meeting/activity rooms, we are embarking on an exciting period of expansion to extend our current building space by almost 50% to enable us to increase usage to meet increasing demand for space.
The Role: Due to ongoing expansion we are seeking to recruit to the new role of Reception/Facilities Coordinator. Working predominantly weekends, the successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that centre bookings run smoothly and that customer and facilities management queries and issues are resolved promptly wherever possible.
Hours: Initial contracted hours will be for 15 hours per week (Saturdays and Sundays 8.30am – 4.30pm), however the ability to work flexibly would be advantageous, covering holidays and absences, as and when required.
Pay: £15 per hour.
