This Half Term, head down to DIG! For Roman week and some fantastic Roman themed events.
From 26th October until 2nd November, come and meet the Romans, craft like a Roman and even meet the Rotten Romans author Terry Deary!
26th -27th October and 2nd-3rd November – Romans at DIG Real life Romans will be marching around DIG – come and chat to them and find out exactly how they lived! On 26th-27th you’ll learn more about the equipment they used in battle and watch Roman military drills in action. and on 2nd-3rd you can learn how to cook like a Roman.
1st November – Meet Rotten Romans author Terry Deary Meet best-selling Horrible Histories author Terry Deary! Terry will be at DIG until 2.30pm and your ticket includes a free copy to be signed by the man himself on the day!
26th -27th October and 2nd-3rd November – Roman Crafting at DIG Craft like a Roman at DIG! Try your hand at clay coil pot making with our Roman potters.
