Tuesdays and Wednesdays in August 2019 starting on Wednesday 7th, 1:30-4pm
Cost: £3 per child aged 4-12
Have a fun family adventure on St Nicks Nature Reserve, just one mile from the city centre. Discover the wonders of nature through a variety of hands-on activities: minibeast hunts, den or bug hotel building, nature-based crafts and more!
Want to know what it’s like to be a bird? In the first session on Wed 7th August, join us for an interactive adventure exploring St Nicks from a bird’s perspective. Learn how birds hunt for food, sleep, make nest, what they eat and how they fly.
Why not have a picnic lunch in our play area or the Centre garden before joining us? We will be making a prompt 1:30pm start from the Centre; you are then free to stay for the whole or just part of the session.
Children must be accompanied. Booking is recommended by calling or via Eventbrite.
Meet at St Nicks Environment Centre, Rawdon Ave., York YO10 3ST (off Hull Road)
