Parents are not the major cause of feeding problems but research shows it’s a skills deficit. Eating is a learned behaviour that we can teach our children and every child is at a different point on their journey towards a varied diet.
The good news is that there are lots of strategies to support fussy eaters and I would love to help support you. I’m a registered Nutritionist with the AfN and have years of experience supporting parents with their child’s fussy eating. I’ve also completed a course on the diagnosis and management of ARFID (Avoidant, restrictive, food intake disorder).
