Do you worry your child isn’t eating healthy enough? and do you find mealtimes stressful because they won’t eat what you have made?
Many of us parents do at some point. Did you know that;
1⁄4 to 1⁄3 of all children go through some feeding difficulty between birth to 10 years.
Only about 1⁄2 of children will outgrow their fussy eating/picky eating.
Parents are not the major cause of feeding problems but research shows it’s a skills deficit. Eating is a learned behaviour that we can teach our children and every child is at a different point on their journey towards a varied diet.
The good news is that there are lots of strategies to support fussy eaters and I would love to help support you. I’m a registered Nutritionist with the AfN and have years of experience supporting parents with their child’s fussy eating. I’ve also completed a course on the diagnosis and management of ARFID (Avoidant, restrictive, food intake disorder).
