Part Time Permanent, Term Time Only 30.5 hpw Monday to Friday (with the potential to job share 17.5 Hours per Week) Grade 5 £14,570 – £15,770 per annum (£8,360 – £9,049 pro rata for job share)
We are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic Textiles and Food Technician to support teaching and learning by ensuring that students work in a safe and well equipped environment for practical work.
• You will need knowledge of the safe working practices which need to be followed when working with food and textiles; • You will also need knowledge of textiles practical skills including the use of resources and equipment; • Effective communication skills and a good level of literacy and numeracy are required for this role; • You must be able to work on your own initiative and have the ability to organise and prioritise tasks; • Previous experience of working with children and young people would be desirable and experience of textiles and food practical work would also be advantageous.
