On Carnival Day parking is not permitted on the roads near the Recreation Centre to ensure access for emergency services and buses and we ask everyone who must use a vehicle to comply with parking restrictions and to park with consideration for residents and other road users.
The village is served by both Coastliner and Connexions (route 13) and is only a 30 minute walk from the Askham Bar Park and Ride site if you use the service from York city centre.
