Based on the iconic movie, School of Rock follows Dewey Finn, a failed rock star who is faking it as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. But instead of teaching the students the alphabet or math, Dewey leads them to become the most awesome rock band ever. Can they crush the Battle of the Bands without getting caught by their parents and the school’s headmistress, or will Dewey be left to face the music?
York Stage is ready to bring the house down once again with a sensational cast, including a group of super talented kids who are about to blow your mind with their musical chops… yes they really do play live on stage! Grab your air guitar and get ready for a show that totally rocks.
