With 21 years of breastfeeding support experience and a mum of four breastfed children, I am a dual qualified IBLC qualified lactation consultant and midwife. I offer empathetic, experienced private lactation consultant breastfeeding and chestfeeding help services including antenatal support.

All mother/parent-baby teams are unique and support is tailored to your needs to help you to meet each of your breastfeeding goals or to navigate any breastfeeding challenges.

I can help with:

• Sore nipples
• Breast pain
• Mastitis
• Over supply /engorgement
• Slow weight gain or weight loss in breastfed babies
• Infant oral assessments, including considering possible tongue-tie (I hold a masters module in tongue-tie and have experience as a tongue-tie practitioner although I do not offer this service privately).
• Introducing or removing formula supplements
• Blocked ducts and milk blisters
• Weaning

I am a neurodivergence specialist supporting autistic and neurodivergent families.
I offer face to face consultations within 15 miles of York, with appointments 7 days a week depending on my availability. Online consultations are also offered – there are excellent value and often can be arranged at very short notice.
