Fancy Dance Shop is an independently owned dance wear shop which was established in 2004. We are based at the bottom of Micklegate and are just a 5 minute walk from both the city centre and York train station.
We stock all local dance school uniforms as well as all the essentials needed for ballet, tap, contemporary and traditional types of dance for both males and females. Therefore we are the perfect one stop shop for all your dance requirement’s.
Fancy Dance Shop also have a wide range of stunningly cute tutus, outfits and accessories perfect for the little ones starting baby ballet with stock sizes as low as 2 years old.
One of the services we pride ourselves upon is our excellent pointe shoe fitting service done by our fully trained fitters, we continue to upgrade our training with extensive courses to ensure that pointe shoes are fitted correctly and to a very high standard.’
