A small group of Royal Lifesaving instructors, based in York deliver free to attend, “Save a Baby’s Life” workshops, which aim to help parents, parents to be, grandparents and anybody in contact with babies and small children cope in the unlikely event of a baby emergency, such as stopping breathing, choking and drowning. These sessions are “one offs” and last about one and a half to two hours and we think are done in a friendly and informal manner with plenty of opportunity to practise on manikins and ask lots of questions. Donations are gladly accepted for the RLSS, which provides all the resources but are not necessary.
