Calling all the pooches out there…grab your leads, drag along your owners and join us for the annual ‘Paws for a Cause’ sponsored Dog Walk and family fun day at the University of York!
You’ll receive a certificate for your kennel and a goody bag just for taking part. If you think your owner needs a bit of exercise then you can choose our 4 miles route but if you are a puppy or have a young handler why not opt for the gentler 1 mile route around campus.
Take the opportunity to strut your stuff in one of our Fun Dog Classes-which start at 12 noon-with the chance of winning one of our coveted rosettes. are you the Cutest Cainine,Scruffiest mutt,Waggiest Tail,Best Veteran (7 years+) or even our Favourite Family… (2 dogs Min, 14 legs max!)
The fantastic team from the East Yorkshire Dog Agility Team will be there to give a demonstration. Why not join in? (fluffy friends only for this one…)
There will also be various stalls and games for both dogs and their humans. Stalls include a Canine Couture stall, raffle and tombola and lots more.
Paws for a Cause is £7 per pooch and it is just £2 to enter into any of our canine categories with the chance of winning some fantastic prizes.
