Acomb Methodist Church welcomes all to celebrate the opening of our new Community Garden. Fun for all the family guaranteed on Saturday 9th September, 12 until 5pm!
Join us for a whole host of traditional family activities including tombolas, children’s free craft activities, miniature railway, Energise climbing all and more. There is also a whole host of food and drink to choose from including BBQ, tea and coffee, homemade cakes and ice cream! Live music and entertainment from local groups and musicians will take place throughout the day.
This event is in celebration of the Church’s new Community Garden which is aimed at opening the Church grounds to the local community. This is the start of an exciting project aiming to showcase the Church’s existing strong ties within the Acomb Community which have been cemented over the past fifty years.
The Church looks forward to welcoming everyone of all faiths and none on what is sure to be a fun filled day for all the family.
