The film includes the difficult choice people with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/ Chronic Fatigue Syndrome face have in deciding whether they should have start a family when they are so debilitated by this condition, the challenges of raising a family when you become ill and the heartache of having a child who develops this life shattering condition. 250, 000 people in the UK are affected by this ME/CFS, more people than have MS or Parkinsons Disease, and research has shown the quality of life those with ME/CFS has is poorer than that of those who have heart disease, stroke and cancer. With so many people affected by the condition it is highly likely you will have a friend, family member, colleague, student, patient or client with this condition. It is vital that this film is seen by as many people as possible to start to eradicate the stigma surrounding the ME/CFS and make the realities of this debilitating condition well known.
