Join us for a drop in session to mark World Earth Day 2018. The focus of World Earth day this year is plastic pollution and raising awareness about the damage plastic is causing to the planet.
Drop in anytime between 11am-2pm and have a go at the activities that include:
Recycling and decomposition quiz
Making suncatchers from plastic milk bottle and fruit boxes
Making wind spiral spinners from plastic bottles
Making wind chimes
Play on our outdoor recycled music station
Making posters
Th drop-in event will be taking place in the new club house located under the cafe. It is free to Friends of Rowntree Park and £1 per child to non-members. Most suited to children 3-10
This is run by volunteers. Children are the responsibility of their parents.
Membership is only £5 a year per household and all money goes back into the park itself (and back into events for the community). To find out more about joining:
