York City Football Club Foundation – Adults

York City Football Club Foundation has a number of activities for adults:

Walking Football is our slowed down version of the beautiful game so whether you are a pro or just want to try it out, get those trainers on and come and give it a go. Our aim is to keep the sessions FUN and SOCIABLE for all – join us on a Monday, Wednesday or Thursday just £5.00 per session! More details on the flyer below.

Sporting Memories takes place twice a week and is a great way to share memories of both sport and the past through quizzes, discussion or guest speakers. We can also be found engaging in some activity whether that be Boccia, Balloon Tennis or Curling. This is a fantastic way to socialise with like minded people and grow friendships. These supportive group sessions not only benefit mental health but have proven to help in tackling loneliness and support people living with long term conditions such as dementia and depression.

Health Walks – these 30 minute walks are free to attend. Walk, talk and enjoy the fresh air. Every Thursday at 12.15pm (meet at the North Stand entrance of the LNER Community Stadium car park). See flyer below for more details.
