The loud and proud Parade assembles in Duncombe Place, outside York Minster, at 11.30am ready to start at 12 noon. Making its way through the streets of York and along Bishopthorpe Road to the Festival site on the Knavesmire, arriving between 1pm and 1.30pm.

Anyone can take part or watch the parade – just turn up and enjoy!
York Pride is a free, family-friendly event! There is no entrance fee but any kind donations help the event to continue in the future.

Marvellous and Mischievous Mini Pride at York Art Gallery
This Pride Month, join Curious Arts for Mini Pride at York Art Gallery, celebrating families of all shapes and sizes through colourful, creative activities inspired by some of literatureβs young rebels featured in the Marvellous & Mischievous exhibition!
Take part in fun, creative activities from badge or zine making and animation to creating banners that stand up for what you believe in and express your hopes for change β particularly rebellious in our anti-protest era!

Barley Hall Pride EventsΒ
π For the entire month of June Barley Hall Coffee Shop will be transforming into a Molly House.
Once home to an 18th-century coffee house, Barley Hall Coffee Shop is the perfect place for a refreshment indoors or outdoors on the aptly named Coffee Yard. Plus, youβll be able to find out more about Molly Houses, Anne Lister, homosexuality in the medieval period and gender roles in the Viking Age when you visit.

Anne Lister will be at the Barley Hall Molly House telling tales of her life in Yorkshire and the notes from her famous diary, on the hour, every hour 11am-3pm.
π Shakespeare Shorts: Twelfth Night β 17th June
Shakespeare in just 15 minutes! Join Barley Hall for an immersive and family-friendly retelling of Shakespeareβs Twelfth Night. On the hour every hour 11am-3pm. This is a tale of mistaken identity, cross dressing and long-lost siblings. A costumed storyteller will make simple, a story that has even the characters confused, all whilst exploring themes of gender identity, and the history of cross-dressing in theatre
