Theme Park including CBeebies land. Also a Waterpark and Spa.
“We’ve been to the CBeebies hotel with a 1 and 4 YO and they both loved it! Very well equipped rooms with everything you could think of for little ones. Plenty to do in CBeebies land too, a fair few rides, shows and meet and greets with characters throughout the day. There’s also an aquarium at Alton towers now too which the children enjoyed.”

“Ours were 2 and 4 and we all loved it! Lots of interactive shows, meeting the characters was magical too. The restaurant was nice, they do family sharers or the little ones can design their own pizza for them to make. We got a pass for splash landings pool and we were pleased we did as it poured it down one day.”

Create fun family memories at Drayton Manor Park, home of Thomas Land anytime throughout the main park season which usually runs between March and October enjoying all the thrills and spills of the park.Theme Park including Thomas Land and zoo.
It’s so good there, by far the best theme park. You can easily spend just a day in Thomas land. We’ve been a few times and found we’ve never had enough time to wander round the rest of Drayton manor which is also really good so I’d just say keep an eye on the time. There’s lots of rides for little ones in the Drayton manor part aswell as Thomas land. There’s a zoo aswell

York Mumbler visited in August 2013 and it was great. Unfortunately as it was the summer holidays the Peppa Pig bit was rammed. Having said, that there were bits within the Peppa Pig world that didn’t have massive queues (the water jet play park, the little houses where you can just see the figures and get your photo taken) so my girls still got a good look around.
The rest of Paultons park was much less busy and it was fantastic. The vast majority of the rides are for kids- only one or two have height limits (I seem to remember 1.1 and 1.2metres) so my kids could go on most stuff.
We were there for 2 days on a Paultons mini break and could have stayed longer. We loved it and will be back! Quite often they do a buy one day get one free.
Top tips- rent a double cart/buggy for the day. The park is massive and it really gave my 2 kids longevity. They loved jumping in the littl cart rather than a pushchair.
Take swim stuff and towels for the water jets bit (big one inside the main park, smaller one inside Peppa Pig world)

A theme park designed exclusively for the under 10’s. It is highly recommended by many MUMblers as a superb day out for young children and well worth the journey. Seasonal activities including Santa visits in December.
“Perfect age. They can go on almost everything (the new driving “ride” has a height restriction and my 2&4yo were both too small). There are loads of play areas, soft play, little houses and towns all perfect size for little ones. It’s my 2 year olds favourite place!.”
