Weekly Clubs & Activities – Primary School Age York

Our craft classes are specially designed for children age 5-10, who will creatively explore a different theme each week. Our classes promote experimentation and building creative confidence. We believe children are natural artists and we aim to provide a space for their creative abilities to flourish.

What they’ll take away:
– A chance to explore different art techniques, and learn about the world of art and crafts.
– To have a fun experience in a relaxed, fun environment.
– Build confidence.
– To explore their creative abilities.
– To make and take home their creations to proudly show you.

​We provide all the art & craft materials. ​All ability levels are welcome. This class is about exploration and having fun. There is no getting it wrong or right.

We offer a mix of after-school sessions and classes on Saturday mornings too. We also offer longer workshops during the school holidays. Classes are held in various locations around York.

​Classes are £8. This includes all the materials they need, tuition and refreshments.

We do birthday parties too!
Do you have a special birthday coming up? Does your child enjoy crafting? Well, we can bring our art & craft workshops to you!
You can hire us for Birthday Parties, workshops, weddings, or festivals. Or any gathering where you’d like the children kept entertained!

The Girlguiding County of North Yorkshire South is based around the city of York, and its surrounding towns and villages including Selby and Tadcaster. We are privileged to have over 500 amazing volunteers who provide fun, skills and adventures to our 1,880 young members. Whether your daughter wants to join Rainbows (4-7), Brownies (7-10), Guides (10-14) or Rangers (14-18), start her Girlguiding journey here.

Maybe you would like to volunteer as an adult helper? We have many different roles available from regular weekly commitments through to more ad-hoc opportunities. We are always on the look out for assistance and no offer is too small!

Popolo Ceramico York/Harrogate is a fully mobile ceramics business that specialises in capturing baby and children’s prints on pottery and jewellery. 

We hold pop-up events across North Yorkshire at various venues, with home appointments and studio appointments available as well. We also offer paint your own pottery take-away boxes which is perfect for creating beautiful and personal gifts and keepsakes. 

Recently, we have been able to add 3D prints and castings to our ever-growing list of products. 

We aim to have orders delivered back within two weeks. 

Our main objective is to create perfectly personal gifts in the most convenient way possible. We also offer children’s birthday parties, commemorative items for special occasions and adult paint your own parties if you and your friends deserve a night of child free fun.
